HOW YOUR GIFT WILL HELP WOMEN AND CHILDREN
As the only daytime center for women and children in Denver, The Gathering Place could be the one place where a woman finds the resources that can help her. Every day we see 200–250 women and children.

Your gift will directly and immediately influence the lives of women struggling to make better lives for themselves and their children. Meals, showers, telephones, safety—these are pressing needs for families on the streets.

When you support The Gathering Place, you ensure that every woman has a place to go when her world is falling apart.

HOW TO GIVE TO THE GATHERING PLACE
Give Online: Make a gift to The Gathering Place online through the secure site at JustGive.org. JustGive.org is a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect people with the charities and causes they care about and to increase overall giving. Your contribution will directly fund the daily operations of The Gathering Place and ensure that our doors are open for women and children in need.

Donate Your Used Car: If you have a car, truck, van, RV, motorcycle or boat that you would like to get rid of, consider donating it to The Gathering Place. We work with Vehicles for Charity, a nonprofit organization that will sell your vehicle and return the proceeds to The Gathering Place. VFC will handle all aspects of the donation for you, including transportation of the vehicle. For further information, please contact   Vehicles for Charity

Workplace Giving: The Gathering Place is a member of Community Shares of Colorado. Gifts of $500 or more to The Gathering Place can qualify for a tax credit through the Denver Enterprise Zone Program. Cash gifts are eligible for a credit up to 25% the amount of the gift and in-kind and stock gifts are eligible for a credit of 12.5% the value of the donation. The Gathering Place Partners and the Shelter From Harm Circle are two groups of community members who believe that women and children deserve a safe and caring place to re-establish their lives during times of homelessness and poverty.
