The Gathering Place is 97% privately funded; we rely on the involvement and commitment of concerned community members to keep our doors open. We are proud that 75% of all income directly funds programs and services; 25% of our income supports organizational support services. As the only daytime drop-in center for women and children in Denver, The Gathering Place could be the one place where a woman finds the resources that can help her rebuild her life. Every day we provide resources and services to 350-400 women and children who are suffering from homelessness and/or poverty. Your gift will directly and immediately influence women struggling to make better lives for themselves and their children. Meals, showers, clothing, hygiene supplies, telephones, safety, companionship, and role models – these are pressing needs for families on the streets.
