The mission of The Gathering Place Association is to support the purpose and programs of the The Gathering Place. Founded in 1990, the Association has grown to over 300 members and has raised over $1,000,000. Our members assist the staff with fundraising, recruiting volunteers, and providing direct services. Over the years, the Association has hosted The Gathering Place Gala (formerly The Brown Bag Benefit) and the Annual TGPA Holiday Fair. We have collected non-perishable food and toiletries for Betsy's Cupboard, created Welcome Home Baskets for newly housed women, sold cards for The Card Project, volunteered at The Gathering Place, and much more!
